What is Grassroots for America?

Grassroots for America^SM is a nation-wide network of progressive grassroots activists disseminating important information and serving as a catalyst for effective action.

Grassroots for America provides links among a wide range of grassroots networks, cross pollinating ideas and information, multiplying opportunities and increasing effectiveness for all.

What do we do?

Grassroots for America focuses on the following:

• Taking Root - GFA's monthly grassroots newsletter.
• Root Camp - Building training capabilities and resources by and for the grassroots.
• Growing Grassroots Networks - Building links among grassroots groups, helping to grow the effectiveness of the grassroots.
• Grassroots-based Projects - Helping grassroots groups collect the resources needed to get great project ideas off the ground.

Who are we?

Grassroots for America^SM is a not-for-profit corporation operating as an IRS chapter 501(c)4 organization formed by a team of grassroots leaders.

Our track record of success.

In early 2004, the founders of Grassroots for America launched a number of high profile projects creating targeted national volunteer mobilization, GOTV and publicity vehicles for the Howard Dean grassroots community during the Democratic primaries.
